Privacy policy — SoftSol IT outsourcing hub
- Data collection: We collect contact information (such as names and emails) together with technical data (such as network logs and hardware identifiers) solely to provision IT services.
- Payments and finance: The Midas platform does not collect, process, or store payment card numbers, card security codes (such as CVV), or similar cardholder data. We do not store full banking credentials or other primary financial-account secrets in this application. Invoicing and payment arrangements are handled through agreed offline or third-party channels; always follow your accountant’s guidance and any separate processor contracts.
- Lawful processing: Personal information is processed to fulfil support requests, manage accounts, and issue invoices according to contractual necessity.
- Confidentiality: All Client information is treated as strictly confidential. Standalone contractual terms for mutual confidentiality are published in our Non-disclosure agreement.
- Mandatory disclosure: SoftSol must disclose plainly unlawful artefacts (such as obviously unlicensed software or illicit content) if compelled under South African law.
- Sub-contractors: We may utilise vetted subcontractors; they inherit equivalent confidentiality commitments.

This notice supplements the contractual framework in our Master SLA. Maintain your own Privacy Policy wording where you act as responsible party alongside SoftSol engagements.
